As soon as I’ve finished taking the "Virtual Barbershop", I immediately created this post in my blog. This site was just passed on to me by a friend. At first I have doubts because I taught my friend is just playing with me and will try to scare me but the curiosity won’t let me not to try it. As I have tried the website, for me it was relaxing and educational. By the way follow the instructions carefully. Heheh..

Who is Dennis Carey?

Here is a great man with a lot achievements in life, became so successful in his career who specializes in the recruitment of CEO’s and corporate director. Obviously I’m referring to this person in the picture above. Dennis Carey has been a big factor to the success of the companies. In 2007, Dennis led CEO succession assessment projects for 3 Fortune 500 Companies and another one is when he recruited the entire board of Covidian and TYCO Electronics, both spin offs of TYCO.

Do you want to know his educational attainment? I’ll just give one of the many, this man holds a Ph.D. in finance and administration from the University of Maryland and was a post-doctoral Fellow at Harvard University in 1982-1983. PEACE FORCE: 2-time UthLympics Overall Champion

For two seasons in a row we the youth in Peace A/G also known as the PEACE FORCE grabbed the overall champion. Unlike the prevoius award, the scores this time was so close, with only ten-point lead in the overall tally againts the JAG Warriors(Joyful A/G). During the culmination/awards day last June 1 in the CAP Auditorium, it was so crucial while waiting for the results because there was still 2 last event held, the Theater Acent and Street Dance, even though we where on the lead in overall scores, JAG WARRIORS can still have the chance to take it but the luck was on our side. YOSH!..

Anyways, so much for that. The season 1 of UthLympics started last summer of 2003, season 2 was on 2005 and now 2008. It is participated of all Assemblies of God churches here in Davao. This time 8 churches participated namely PEACE FORCE (Peace A/G), JAG WARRIORS (Joyful A/G), YOUTH OF PROMISE(Holy Ground A/G), MARTUS CRISTUS (CCC A/G), SHEEPMUNKS ( A/G), UNIFIERS (Miracle A/G), THE ROCK ( A/G) and the POWERKIDS (Dona Pilar A/G). The theme this season is "Winning the way JESUS’ Way". The events are Bible games, Pinoy Games, Ball Games and Board Games.

It was a great time of fellowship, praise and worship with the other youth in the other churches even though sometimes emotions take over in the games but still friendship and bonding never breaks. And the next mission of PEACE FORCE is to make a Grand Slam in the Season 4, we will try to make it three straight and with this victorious moments, "We give back to GOD all the glory".

Favorite Book of America: Bible

I was happy to have read this. This is amazing and I really didn’t think that this would be possible. I hope its not only America but also in the whole world. YEAH!

According to the results of a new survey reported by Reuters, when it comes to literary pursuits in the U.S., most people agree on at least one thing: the most popular book is the Bible. A Harris Poll of nearly 2,513 adults ranked the Bible number one, but the second choice was not as clear.

"The Bible is number one among each of the different demographic groups," Harris said in a statement. The following demographics ranked these different books as their No. 2 favorite behind the Bible: men - J.R.R. Tolkien’s "The Lord of the Rings;" women - Margaret Mitchell’s "Gone With the Wind;" 18-31-year-olds - J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series; 32-43-year-olds - Stephen King’s "The Stand" and Dan Brown’s "Angels and Demons."

American Idol - Ramiele Malubay

The Season 7 of American Idol has started and now the show is on the top 12 contestants. The competition is getting thougher every week. But the interesting thing here is one of the top 12 who made it is Ramiele Malubay a Fil-Am. She is 20 years old, living in Miramar, FL and she auditioned in Miami. Seeing her singing for the first time was great, she has a nice voice and it was proven again that Filipinos can sing and truly for word class. In addition her musical influences would be Aretha Franklin, Jackson 5, Mariah Carey, Lani Misalocha, and Regine Velasquez. Now let’s support her up to the road to her stardom.

Apple Beats Windows in 4Q Phone Sales

"Even after being on the market for less than half a year, more iPhones sold in the fourth quarter than Windows Mobile phones in the U.S., according to research from Canalys.

Canalys researchers estimate that the iPhone had 28 percent of the U.S. converged-device market in the fourth quarter of 2007. Research In Motion, with 41 percent, had the largest share of the market. Windows Mobile phones had 21 percent share of devices sold in the quarter, falling into third place behind Apple."

It is proven that the IPhone is a good product because despite the bad impressions of others still they have dominated in the US and the other countries as well. Some proofs are, the IPHone also did well in the other countries like Europe, Middle East and Africa. In these countries they have beaten up Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Palm. Now im craving to have the IPhone, but I think it will impossible. O-daijini Mina Sama!.

Like Father but NOT Like Son!..

When I was reading the newspaper yesterday there is one column that has captured my attention. The son of the terrorist Osama bin Laden, Omar bin Laden did not want to follow the trail of his father to be a terrorist. Intstead he wants to be an ambassador for peace between the Muslims and the West. He said in the "It is about changing the Western mind. A lot of people think Arabs- especially the bin Ladens, especially the son of Osama - are all terrorists. This is not true!".

Well if this true, it will a good news for all of us. Cause the terrorists will be atleast lessen because usually the Son takes over the Father.
