D’s Side…

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I last updated this blog. I’ve been very busy with many things and I was happy about it and still enjoying it so much. Just to tell you of my recent activities, I’ve been to Baybay, Leyte last Christmas vacation to minister to those youth out there. Our band in the church was invited to minister through music and lectures about improving skills and worship.

Another thing that is up now is I just finished another training in the Eversun company here in Davao. I applied as Web Designer, even though I’ve finished the training with the Web Master position last time (which is still closed), I still have to train again to serve as a refresher. Well in my point of view, I think i did great and hoping that this time I’ll be an agent in the said company.

    Yes! My first website is up and running. This was planned a long time ago since my college days and here it is now! well it took a while though! hehe. So this site is different because primarily it will be talking more about some online lessons and tips I’ve learned through experiences, reading and from my mentors. Lessons such as learning guitar online, internet and including the World Wide Web. I think it is time for me to share some important knowledge I have on others through internet and this is also an opportunity for me to somehow learn from it. I’ll be posting also some of my hobbies like topics about sports, tv series and movies.

Its been a long time since I’ve stopped from playing online games. The reason was that I’ve prioritized my studies that time and lost the interest in playing. The last online game I’ve played was Tantra and for me it was good and I had a lot of fun that time.

Now I’m back but now playing CABAL. I’ve tried the CABAL Philippines but the servers are always full and I was not able to play so I shifted to CABAL-Extreme because the servers are not full and my brother and his friends are also playing there. The good things in Cabal-Exteme server is that it has international players, free2play and you can level-up fast. For people who wanna join just register @ http://www.cabal-extreme.com/index.php

    Wow it’s been a long time since this blog has got a PR(page rank) again. The first time this blog got PR was in the month of February 2008. It was PR 3 but after 2 or 3 months I think it was back to zero but now this blog got PR 2 and I’m happy about it. The image above is a proof that I’m telling the truth. hehe O-daijini Mina Sama

Yesterday my training ended and I was happy for that. If I were to evaluate myself during the training, I think I passed. Well now, I’m waiting for the result and I’m optimistic about it. Anyways, today was a very busy day because I’ve been busy with my medical requirments that is suppose to be submitted before or during the training at Eversun. I had a chest X-ray, urinalysis and CBC. While waiting for the results I went to my "inaanak" Yana, which was admitted in Brokenshire hospital. I just gave my support for her and still praying that she will be healthy and will be back to normal. After that I went back to get the results and submit it to Eversun.

I think that would be it, my whole day in July 11, 2008. O-daijini Mina Sama!

For two seasons in a row we the youth in Peace A/G also known as the PEACE FORCE grabbed the overall champion. Unlike the prevoius award, the scores this time was so close, with only ten-point lead in the overall tally againts the JAG Warriors(Joyful A/G). During the culmination/awards day last June 1 in the CAP Auditorium, it was so crucial while waiting for the results because there was still 2 last event held, the Theater Acent and Street Dance, even though we where on the lead in overall scores, JAG WARRIORS can still have the chance to take it but the luck was on our side. YOSH!..

Anyways, so much for that. The season 1 of UthLympics started last summer of 2003, season 2 was on 2005 and now 2008. It is participated of all Assemblies of God churches here in Davao. This time 8 churches participated namely PEACE FORCE (Peace A/G), JAG WARRIORS (Joyful A/G), YOUTH OF PROMISE(Holy Ground A/G), MARTUS CRISTUS (CCC A/G), SHEEPMUNKS ( A/G), UNIFIERS (Miracle A/G), THE ROCK ( A/G) and the POWERKIDS (Dona Pilar A/G). The theme this season is "Winning the way JESUS’ Way". The events are Bible games, Pinoy Games, Ball Games and Board Games.

It was a great time of fellowship, praise and worship with the other youth in the other churches even though sometimes emotions take over in the games but still friendship and bonding never breaks. And the next mission of PEACE FORCE is to make a Grand Slam in the Season 4, we will try to make it three straight and with this victorious moments, "We give back to GOD all the glory".

It all started in about 8:00am in the morning up to 2:00am when our internet connection was stopped. It was a bit new and a boring day to me because it has become my habit that when I wake up I turn on the pc and check for updates on my email, blogs, NBA.com and check for new downloads of my favorite TV shows and movies. For your information, I’m not the one who was affected because when my friend texted me and ask me if our connection was ok, then I realize that all PLDT DSL subscribbers in Davao where all affected, it was then a "MASSIVE INTERNET DISCONNECTION". I wonder what those other do in their whole day without internet. Hehe. Well all I did the whole day was to play "NBA Live 08" which is an offline game and went to my friends house and chat with some non-sense topics. That’s all. O-daijini Mina Sama!

All these past few days I’ve been downloading and have been watching movie. Those days until now were so boring and it’s killing me. I’m tired of waiting of the skills test in Eversun Corp., the company I’ve applied in. Well I can’t do anything but to wait because I want to work there because I think I will be comfortable there, there’s a lot of classmates and schoolmates around that would help me adjust in the new environment. I just hope that when its time for me to take the exam I will do good and and eventually work there. That’s all for now. O-daijini Mina Sama!..
