After watching the Death Note Movie 1, I was excited to play the movie 2 but since it was in Japanese I need to have a subtitle to understand. In my movie folder, there is a .srt file together with a .avi file they say that .srt files are the subtitles. My problem at first is how to play .srt together with the video file. So after the long exploration, I’ve manage to solve it, continued and enjoyed watching the movie. By the way Death Note is so cool hehe.. Others who have the same problem, here’s how to do it.

1. You must first have a VLC Player. Download VLC Player.
2. Open the VLC Player.
3. Follow the screenshoots below

 

 

4. In the open dialog box, click browse and search for your video file after that check the "Use a subtitle file", search for the .srt or subtitle file and click ok. That’s it, enjoy watching.
