The fight between the two fighters was tough because it was a close one and an unpredictable fight. From the beginning, Gorres was agressive and he even scored a knockdown in the 2nd round by a right hook. But Darchinyan did show his power. He also scored a knockdown in the 9th round and he was able to knockdown Gorres in the 5th but the referee saw it as a slip, and also gave a cut to the right side of the head of Gorrez that made him weak in the later rounds.

Honestly it was a lucky break for Gorres. After 12 rounds of boxing the judges decison was a draw. The two judges scored 112-113 for both fighters and the Australian judge scored it 113 -113 that made it draw. The commentators said that if Gorres didn’t get the cut in his head in the early round, it would have been a different fight and it might be that Gorres will win the fight. And for Drachinyan, if the referee was able to saw the knockdown of Gorres which he taught was a slip, Darchinyan could have won the fight. Because of this, the people are expecting to have a rematch, cause it is still a big question mark of who really won the fight. Lets just wait for the next schedule for this fight. Last friday after our class at Java, we went to Penongs for dinner. And as promised, our classmate Lori treated us all, thanks to her because I was really thinking of eating barbecue for the whole month and it’s been awhile since Ive gone to Penongs. And after eating, we tought of going to People’s Park. To tell you honestly, i dont like to go to parks because for me it is cheap but now I have this excitment in going there because of all the possitive comments I’ve heard about the park. When were there walking, I saw the beauty of it!. Lovely!..And it was my first time. They were right that it is a good place. Now I have another thing to be proud of from our city Davao. We were taking pictures everywhere and we have really enjoyed strolling around the park. We were also enjoying the moments because the time is fast approaching for our thesis final presentation and maybe it is the last time for us to enjoy for the month of January and February. I hope that the cleanliness of the park will be maintained and preserve the beauty of it. By the way, I’ll post some pictures we have, Im just waiting from my classmate to send it to me.
